One of our first vegetarian meals in Hangzhou turned out to be an amazing discovery. 一家素 (Yijia Su) is a popular vegetarian buffet restaurant offering an impressive selection of Chinese, Japanese and Western-inspired plant-based dishes.
With more than 100 freshly prepared items, there’s something for everyone—from premium mushrooms and fungi, fresh seasonal vegetables, creative mock sushi, handmade vegan dim sum and nourishing soups to innovative plant-based meats, delightful desserts and ice cream. Every dish was beautifully presented, fresh and flavourful, and the quality exceeded our expectations.
If you’re visiting Hangzhou and enjoy vegetarian cuisine, this is definitely a place worth trying.
